


Job Corps is more than a job training program for youth. It is also a career transition service, matching employers' hiring needs with the most qualified applicants. Professional Career Transition Specialists of American Business Corporation work with each returning student to provide career enhancement services, job search and job keeping skills. Staff also work with the employer to assist in their recruitment and new hiring efforts. Our service includes screening, job matching and follow-up meetings with the new employee and employer to make sure the placement is successful for both parties. The associates and staff offer considerable resources and the successful delivery of recruitment and job transition services. For over twenty years, ABC staff have been actively involved in designing and operating innovative, effective employment and training programs. Our knowledge of community based organizations and resources, linkages with post-secondary education institutions and the private business sector are extensive.
