While at the Job Corps you will receive your GED and job training of your choice in many exciting career fields. These career fields are in high demand in today's job market. Upon completion of the Job Corps program a Job Corps Career Transition Specialist will help you find a job in you career field back in your hometown or elsewhere. There are Job Corps centers in every state, so no matter where you live Job Corps can help you today! The combination of training and support services is designed to help each student be a successful and productive person in society. Upon completion of the program youth are better prepared to obtain and hold a job and tap into potential you never realized you had. The ultimate job of our program is to give young people the opportunity to get the job skills needed to succeed. Job Corps realizes the challenges in today's world and is here to help you succeed through the Job Corps. Initial Eligibility Criteria

You must be at least 16 and not yet 25 years of age.

You must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. national, legal resident, permanent resident alien or other lawfully admitted alien.

You must not be on probation or parole, unless the court does not require personal supervision education and/or skill training.

You must be willing to accept and abide by the Zero Tolerance Policy of No Violence while on center.

You must be willing to accept and abide by the Zero Tolerance Policy of No Drug Use while on center.

And most importantly, you must have the willingness, motivation, and capability to succeed in the Job Corps Program.
